Dream BIG!

I just had a thought about Tim Storey’s quote for Sunday (read it <http://www.getstorey.com>here). He talks about taking time to listen to people’s dreams because you might be what they need to help them get there. But what I was thinking is that, even if you don’t care about the other person or their dreams, listening to them might inspire you as well. Their dreams might help you find your own dream.

Tim Storey is SOOO easy to understand

You know what I love about Tim Storey? He makes spiritual things so easy to understand. Like his last blog (<http://www.getstorey.com>click here). He uses the bible and then makes it make sense. The scripture says “if he takes care of the birds of the air, how much more will he take care of us?” Then he says “As I like to say, when was the last time you saw a stressed out bird? In other words, don’t sweat the small stuff because God is truly in control.” That’s so cool!

Storey says it a matter of "when" not "if"...

Here’s an interesting thought about Tim Storey’s quote for today (you can see it <"http://www.getstorey.com"> here, just go to Motivation). I thought it was good that he said “when” and not “if” because we can never avoid problems and obstacles entirely. You might as well accept that fact now, so you’re not surprised.

I love Tim's quotes of the day!

Tim’s Quote of the day today is so comforting! I know people say it all the time, but sometimes you just need to believe it. And he is so good for dedicating his life to helping people believe it. If you haven’t already, you should visit <http://www.getstorey.com>Tim Storey’s web site. He’ll be able to help you, no matter what your problem.

Tim says to do your part!

Tim Storey really got to my heart in one of his videos. He talked about everyone having a calling. But he read in the bible where Paul said to live worthy of that calling. That means you have to do your part to be ready for God’s plan for you.

Where Tim came from

I like knowing that Tim didn’t come from a rich family or anything. It’s easier for me to believe what he says about holding on and your comeback being on the way because I know he has gone through lots of the same things. He is someone you can trust.

I LOVED Tim Storey's inspirational book!

I read Utmost living by Tim Storey. I liked the story about the guy in insurance that wanted to be a chef. It was so inspiring. It was so cool because Tim just started talking to the guy about what he did and what he liked doing and eventually the guy took the first step toward reaching his dreams!

Tim Storey helped my friend

Last week I met up with a friend of mine from high school. I’d only seen him a couple of times since we graduated and the second time he looked really bad. He’d gone majorly down hill, drinking too much and things like that. So I was a little apprehensive about seeing him again.

I was amazed! He looked so good! I asked how he was doing and he told me he’s been sober for a year and a half and that he’s going back to college to finish his degree. I asked what finally turned him around and he told me one of his coworkers finally confronted him about his problems because they were affecting his work. I guess this guy wanted him to see a therapist or something, which he refused to do. So his coworker told him to go see Tim Storey and that he wasn’t a therapist or anything like that.

My friend told me that it was a total shock to him. He said he never even met Tim Storey at his office or anything. They would meet for lunch or coffee or something and just talk. Half the time they didn’t even mention his problems. But after a couple of weeks, my friend said he just felt like he could do better for himself. He had to find something to replace his drinking habits, so he went back to school and is working on finishing his degree.
